Default Hey there boys!

Just got my Techarts and want to wrap them in fresh rubber.....what do you guys run? I was thinking Yokohamas or maybe Bridgestones but, what is the consensus? I live in the northeast, Westchester, NY actually, so the car is basically going to be a 3 season car..........any suggestions?? I have a 1998 C2S and will post pics as soon as I learn how to downsize my pics!

Thanks

Steve

+1 I run these on my car, they are great on dry roads but absolutely amazing in the rain!

Steve, you running windows? If so, right click the picture, select "Open With" and choose "Paint." There's a tool bar on the top, and on one of the selections there's a drop-down menu with an option something along the lines of "Image Properties." In the window that opens, you can resize the images to any % of original. Be sure to save as before messing with this, as it can permanently change the picture.

I buy the $133 Sumimoto HTR Z's. Fabulous tire, very sticky, they don't wear too fast, and at $133 each, who cares if they do?

There's no way to test this theory, but I'll put it out there anyway: I would bet my checking account that all you guys who feel so much pride in spending over $300 EACH for PS2's would not be able to tell the difference between the PS2's and, say, my cheap-*** Sumimoto's on the identical 993 if you didn't know which tire was on the car. Why? Because none of you are good enough drivers to sense the subtlety of the differences (I'm not either).

That is certainly true!

Noah, couldn't your theory also be applied to not just the tires, but the car?

No. Even you, Rob, would know the difference between a Yugo and a GT3.
