Default Has anyone bought this GT2 front spoiler on eBay?

I seem to remember a thread or two on this subject a while back but can't find them. The seller is in Hong Kong, and I think the quality is pretty good. Can anyone show has bought from him verify the fit and finish? Also, is it fiberglass or some other type of material?

As always, thanks in advance.

Mark,

Funny you should post this thread.. I was going to post this Yesterday. I'm in the market for these and they do seem decent, from what I can tell. The feedback is positive too? Most importantly, the price is right.

If you got these would you use Aluminum bracket to strengthen it?

Dave,

Aluminum brackets to strengthen what and where?

Yes, this vendor sells these on a regular basis on eBay.

Definitely use brackets for additional support. This splitter gets pretty beat up on the track. I will take a pic tonight of my brackets.

Thanks, Al, I 'd love to see them.

Did you buy your spoiler from "hk-plus"?

Do a search

This seller has been discussed earlier, if I remember right there have been fitting issues with his parts.

Edit:
Mark : I saw that you have responded to previous threads about this seller, so you know about the pros and cons of his products.

Was looking at his RS splitters but ended up buying from Gert.

I did do a search. I always do a search. I could not find the seller or the thread(s). Can you direct me to any links? Thanks.

Uhhh, how about a link? Just because I responded to a thread a few months ago doesn't mean I remember exactly what was said.

Thanks.

I'm looking for this front spoiler too. $249 is tempting even with a few minor adjustments, as noted in the thread above.

What i can read from the posts is that if you are OK with less than 100% fit and you wil not be bumping into things then fiberglass is OK.

If you want 100% fit and you know that you will be scrubbing the splitters you should go with original.

The "search" thing was meant as a joke

Yes i was referring to the company, but i guess the RS splitters and the GT2 spoiler might have the same issues ?

That said i have never seen these products myself so I should probably keep my mouth shout
