Default Anyone want a Bosch Hammer?

Now that my mechanic is gone and I'll be using a full-service Porsche shop, I'm not sure I need this anymore. It's a KTS300 with both cables (round OBD-I and OBD-II style) and software for 993/968/928. Great condition, recent battery.

I'd like to get the $1900 that I paid last winter.

Oh man - I'd love to jump on this. But alas, the timing just isn't right.

Good luck with your sale, Jon

Refresh my memory, does the hammer do everything? Airbags, ABS modules etc?

Yes, on the 993 it does airbags, DME, HVAC and immobilizer. I should write up a list of menus. One thing that is very useful is logging detonation--it can tell you how many times the knock sensor registers something.

Bump--last chance before I swap it for services.

Does this work for 964's?

You may want to cross post.

I checked with JDSPorsche, a KTS300 with Porsche software and lead is $1800. They might want to buy this from you if you want to go that route. If you are interested I talked to John, he can be reached at info@jdsporsche.com.

Cheers,

Mike

Sorry, to thread-jack, but doesn't this do about the same thing?

Can you program the remotes with the hammer?
