Rear fender protection.....
My eye is saying to me that if my clear protection was replaced with a piece of that material in black, that my car would look better.
Does Porsche even offer those panels in black and do you agree?

Maybe I should cut out some pieces of black construction paper that match and tape them on with some electric tape.... and then post some pics and have a vote......

i've never liked the way the black fender protection looked on the 911...i like the look of the unaltered edge of the fender.

I think they make the protection film in silver to match your paint too. Clear tends to yellow over time and shows much worse on the lighter colors.

My stone guards (which were originally clear) turned yellow and really looked bad. I removed them a few years ago and never replaced them. I actually like the look better.

I tried to find black ones in my recent re-application to my car. I wasn't able to find them and the clears look just fine!
I'm not sure I'd be a big fan of the black on a silver car.....might look good though, who knows!

OK I was curious and so I grabbed some photos off Rennlist and Photoshopped in some black guards. I thought I would like it better than I do. I think I was kinda accurate, hard to see the seams in the original photos.
