Kinesis used to, but no longer.

Maybe if we all write to Lexani(sp?), the new owners of Kinesis, they will bring the new version that was in development to market.

I don't remember the specifics, but it seems to me that when I looked into those wheels the o/s was a little off, but I could be wrong. I do know there was a reason not to get them just can't put my finger on it for sure.

When I lived in France in 2001 I gave them a call as I was interested in their wheels as a second track set for my cabrio. They did sent me pictures and brochures about the wheels and from talking to them you can specify the offset you want. To me it was a matter of logistics at the time otherwise I would have bought a set. From what I could see they are identical to the originals... In France they have a good reputation, from what I know they are heavy and about the same specs as the originals.

CP-those wheels might be polished, like the speedlines that came on the 91-94 turbos. I'd love to get a set of speedlines for my car but they are hard to find. I think I will probably give in and put a set of RH3.6's on my car in the next year or two....

Chuck,

I don't mind them polished at all. In fact, I'd like that better than chrome. Chrome is kind of too much 'bling' for my age group. I will know for sure when the wheels show up.

I read up some more on Speedline. I'm beginning to feel very good about my choice. They seem to be excellent wheels.

There's a guy (no affiliation) in the For Sale forum selling a set of Speedlines that he will customize for size.

Look for the post about the Techart wheels made by OZ...

Pong-

I think the reason the rivets do not go all the around is because those may be 2 piece instead of 3 piece.... But I am not sure.

No matter what I am sure they will look phenomenal on a Cayman.

Thanks,

Here are a couple pics of my base Cayman with the Speedline wheels.

Enjoy.

I have a set of 993 RS Speedlines that are being restored. I can make them either stock 8 & 10, or with spares parts I have I can make 8 & 10.5. That being said, I can also have new outer rims made and have here for a test wheel a 2.25" that would make a 11" wheel with all the rim width going to the outside, or 2.75" pushing to 11.5" or larger, but I am concerned about building a set too wide.

These are the correct wheel for the 993 or with aditional width for the TT.

I just finished disassembling and mocking up the next size for the fronts 1.75" outer instead of 1.25" 1/2" making a 8.5" front wheel. Jim
