I will as soon as I pick them up. Won't be until after Thanksgiving though. I am also getting the LPMM treatment from FisterD.

Darin I didn't know you made tips! I wanted to ask you what your Stage 2 muffler mod adds to the 2" lpmm because on your video clips the 2" Bypass sounds better than the Stage 2 IMO.

Stage II is what I have on my car. It has the 2" bypass, plus some internal mods. They weigh less than stock mufflers, as well. As far as the sound, it's hard to tell from the video, but they sound killer, and I love them. They are louder than 2" bypass only, and more aggressive sounding. It is definitely not for everyone....but, coming from Fabspeed Supercups (which I love), I needed more then just the 2" bypass. They don't resonate, and on hard acceleration, they scream!
I do not make the tips. They are tips I have on hand for friends who come over for muffler surgery.

I'll add my 2 cents since I have heard both in person...

The videos help you get an idea of the exhaust note but can be misleading. Darin's sounds way meaner than mine (2" bypass) especially under acceleration. It is a little bit louder and a lot... meaner is the best word I can come up with.

Bottom line: If I weren't selling my 993 I would go with the internal mods Darin did on his 993 mufflers. It sounds fantastic. I only wish I could get this kind of sound out of my 993tt!
Actually, I am sort of hoping the NA car doesn't sell anytime soon. I'm going to give it a little while longer then have Darin do some elective surgery on it's cans

So does it matter or make a difference in sound that I have the Motorsound mufflers? I would love to hear this in person because I want the sound of the earlier air cooled 911's (RAW) but not obnoxious. Darin I might easily get talked into the whole shebang Stage 2 and 2" LPMM!!!! It's getting colder out there and closer to me yanking these babies off and sending them your way.
