Spray them with Rustoleum matte black BBQ paint. It is supposedly good to 1600 degrees. I just used it to paint the rear of the baffles on the used FS supercups that I bought. So far it seems to be working well.

can anyone post a pict of black tips? It might actually look cool to have just two black holes instead of semi shiny tips.

Yes. These are the big ovals from the Corvette5dude on eBay. I bought it from another lister who was part of the GB. I have a set of OEM big ovals that I'm going to keep stock. Good Luck.

Yes, Tony's car is so sweet. One day he will let me drive it. Then he will let his wife drive it....

Tony, Claire saw your Avatar the other night and, without knowing it was yours, said it was very cool. A werk may be in my future.

I just got mine in the mail from FisterD. I was trying to get some from corvettedude but he never returned my emails or my phone calls. FisterD sent them to me the very day we talked. Send him a PM and I am sure you will have them in the next couple of days.

FWIW...I have a set of decent stock tips used for only 29K. I polished them and the look pretty good. Open to offers.
I replaced mine with the Schnell ovals. Here they are:

Forgot to mention...you can pick up these tips from Vertex. No affiliation, blah blah. Here's a side shot.

Corvettec5dude responded to my email. He stated that he would gladly refund my money. But he has not offered to repair my tips.

I will most likely repair them myself as I really like the tips.

I think Josh is an honest fellow. PM me if you want his direct email.
