Hey Bob,

Its nice to have another Targa around......but watch out for the slipperly slope. There are just too many nice $$$ things you can buy for these 993's. If you need any help with the top etc. let me know, I might be able to help..

Cheers,

Mike

Bob,

Congratulations on a beautiful car. A Targa looks awesome in black. On tire pressures, I would start with 32/34 and see how that goes.

All the best,

Bob, re the rear spoiler, it is the rear spoiler wall that is broken. Flimsy piece of plastic. Mine is in the same condition and on the list to get replaced. No.15 on this diagram:http://www.pelicanparts.com/PartsLoo...-10-Frame5.htm $93.95 from Pelican Parts.

I'm about to put an order for it in myself.

Please don't do that. It could be very painful!

Thanks for pointing that out Robert, I will have that spoiler taken care of.

Thanks for the tire pressure tip Targa Tango, I will see where that will lead me.

Most of all thanks for all your advice. I washed the car and took some pictures which I will try and upload. What a great car the 993 is.

Cheers.

Bob

Marlon - those are yellow lenses fitted onto the H4's with PIAA bulbs, nothing exotic, my tribute to Le Mans.

Congratulations Bob! I guess I missed this thread. I agree with Louis and Guy we need another BBC to celebrate. Just watch that slope, I think I've injured myself(or at least my credit card!) from my free fall last week!. Where's the SC going? Maybe two porsches in the garage?
Cheers, Tim.

Hi Tim,

I will use any excuse to drive this wonderful car so watch here and the CWR forum for a "short" notice BBC.

The SC left for Edmonton today, bought by a first timer enthusiast who saw the ad here on Rennlist. I'm gonna miss that car but I'm loving the new one.

Cheers.

Bob
