Ruf aluminum door sills
Posted this in the wanted ads also.
Trying to see if anyone has these that they would be willing to sell. Was looking for them in aluminum. Also interested in any other Ruf parts that are for the 993. Thanks for any replies.
P.S. Ruf no longer sells door sills for the 993.
Thanks again.

Mel,
I might have gotton the last set of Ruf stainless steel sill for the 993 for my Ruf BTR. You mentioned aluminum sills. I am not familiar with that. May be they still have SS sills?
Good luck.

Mel,
They do not do the BTR conversion anymore as the demand is really really low. Your better bet is to source a 997tt engine and do either the CTR or Turbo-R conversion. It is actually cheaper than the BTR conversion. (my PO spent $65k in year 2000 for his conversion).
Your other choices are to buy a 993tt, or just buy a Ruf.
I have eveything Ruf on my car except the green gages. That may be next if I ever do a road trip to Dallas in my Ruf. Then my life is complete.

I asked them a month ago and they told me 52k for the conversion. That was from the salesman who I bought my car from (at Ruf). I think you are right though, tt engine swap would probably be the best thing.
