I live about 15 minutes from the shop, but it is not Porsche specific, they do service other automobiles as well. Just a thought as the ebay add seems to insinute they are a Porsche specialty shop.

One note, I would be wary of a car from Toronto, ON. Unless the car has only been driven in very nice weather, there could be some rust. Or does the add mean it was purchased new in Toronto by a Vancouver resident?

I can check on the car if you like, just to make sure it's as advertised.

Yep, that's Jame's car. He manages Scan. Good car, good shop and good guy. Are you in Van?

Well there you go, that's the beauty of this forum, in less than 3 hours you've found someone with first hand experience about the car

If you're asking me, then yes. I live downtown.

No, I was asking Ron.

Good to know though. I just checked out your website briefly. Nice pics. I just moved from Yaletown to South Granville.

No, I'm in Ottawa. James has been very responsive to my questions and together with the positive feedback you guys are providing, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this one. Anyone interested in a slightly used (174,000 miles!) black on black '95 coupe?

Jame's car is a very nice example and it's nicely sorted. Good luck and I hope you end up with it.

I do know someone who might be interested in your car. PM me with the specs, price and history and I'll pass it along.

Scan Automotive has an excellent reputation within the Canada West Region of the PCA. I don't think you could have a better recommendation that that.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the compliments, we try to do a good job, and actually enjoy coming to work, hope that shows.

The BMW just showed up. You'll see it soon enough. Still have a few Porsche's in the stable though (the 944 race car, and now three 996 Koni Challenge cars in the family!), so, don't excommunicate me for the Bavarian addition to the family!

Robert, hope you are enjoying the new car,
Louis, how's the collection?
Danny, sorry I missed the AutoX, hopefully see you soon, it's been a while,

Car is still up for grabs, hopefully, finds an enthusiast home.
Regards,
James

Which BMW did you get? I'm a BMW Tech, always been partial to the M5, I think it's the ultimate family sedan.

Nice to hear there's a good Porsche dealer in the vacinity. Sorry for my untrusting comments earlier, just don't much care for ebay, although it seems to be a must if you're looking for a good price or a specific model.
