Default O/T Porsche Design Glasses

Hi Folks,

Anyone try the Porsche Design Glasses?

I have these random ads, and I bit on one.

http://www.overstock.com/Clothing/Po...2/product.html

I bought 2 brown ones, for $59.99 each (78% off?). The reviews say these glasses are smallish. Seeing my head/brain is shrinking by the day, these may just be the ticket for me.

So the glasses arrived today, and they are fantastic. Light as feather and cuts glare by the bushels (is there such a phrase?) In short, I lucked out, and I REALLY liked it.

Oh, one more thing, the box says: Made in......Japan

Enjoy.

I received mine (Turbo edition) as a gift from a friend. Beautifully designed but doesn't look good on me.

Really???

That's hardly possible. You should have your eyes checked, like right now.

Everything looks good on you.

hey pong i love their eyewear...but i lost my faves; some retro (re-issue) 80's gold ones. still have the case w/ the other lenses too. think some chick who was trying them on, stole 'em from me one eve. in a bar far, far away.

fwiw: you def. have to try them on before buying though b/c it's all about the fit. but knowin' your face/size & seeing the glasses, i think you may be fortunate. porsche clears there stuff out several times a year (great buy). their sales @ IIrodeo & southcoast are usually great! golfclubs & tailored (to fit pcar) luggage too...

I have both reading (no need for a prescription) as well as sunglasses and I love them. They even fit my massive noggin. The sunglasses are phenomenal in really bright light but a bit dark for mostly cloudy/overcast conditions.

polycarbonate is an excellent polymer (plastic) that do not crack with sunlight, and is very durable. Very strong too.Current and expensive yacht hatches and portholes are made from this plastic. GE produce polycarbonate under their own name "Lexan". Also used in space ships, jetfighter cannopies, and many other gizmos. well ... that's it eloy
