RDG - fun isn't yelling and getting more or less personal is it? Have fun with the car and learn from the board - it will save you time and money....or make you spend more....
Either way - respect

Rob, you're really missing the point. The people you are calling Turds here didn't just buy their first car. Most of us know someone who has been killed or seriously injured by stupidity and a moving car. These are photos of what your attitude will do to a perfectly good car.

Gotta laugh....you turn up here with a new car and post phone camera pic of your speedo doing 140 plus mph, expect everyone to be impressed (or you would have posted a different pic) then start abusing everyone who doesn't agree that you must be the coolest thing on the block.
Dude, I don't care that you were the only car on a straight and empty bit of road. It is still a dumbass thing to do. If you want a speedo shot at high speed, at least you could have gotten your passenger to take the shot...but then you would have to get someone to ride with you.
Call me a turd or whatever...doesn't change the fact that you come across to most on this board as a bit of a noter, and more than a little immature.
Nice car though. Get it on a track and go as quick as you want, but don't expect us all to be impressed with going fast in a straight line on an empty road....anyone can do that.
We are not generally unwelcoming people, but you reap what you sow.
Cheers.

Really ? You've been a member for 5+ years and with a mouth like yours, you carry less than 15 posts ?

People like you take the fun out of this board. You come off as self rightous and lecturing.
Either you're a trust fund boy working off daddy's Rennlist handle and just got your first Porsche Car .......or.......you worked hard and earned it. Unlikely.

Regardless, if you were my son and I saw how you were talking to people on this board ? I'd smack ya up side your ****in head.....both for the way you were talking and the way you were driving.

Smartin' up Sprout.

Here in the south we would have started the original post with: "Hey Ya'll, watch THIS!"

As a frequent driver in Montana, I can vouch for the fact that, properly done, 150MPH is very safe in most areas of highway there. Taking your hands off the wheel to set up and take a camera phone picture wouldn't seem to me to be properly done. However, I've never tried it...

Porsche C4S......$50,000
Camera phone...$25

Having a tire let go while mixing the two...........priceless.

Classic!

The first mod I'd suggest is removing your first mod. Window tint? Really? Thats your first mod? Really?

Good luck with the car.
