Duffy Lake drive in British Columbia - pictures
The Canada West Region of the PCNA sponsored a 700+ KM (450miles+) drive today up from Vancouver through Whistler up to Cache Creek and down the Fraser River Canyon. I thought I would post some shots for those who are interested:
Getting ready...
A nice shot of Guy's car from my roof...
All lined up past Whistler on the Duffy Lake Road...notice the low snow line!
Gratuitous shot of my car...
Gratuitous shot of Guy's car....
Trying to keep up to Guy...
Road is dry, air is cool, leaves are turning colo, and that flax six is howling...
In the Fraser Canyon:
Drive back got a bit crappy
Ok, Ok, I am showing off a bit...but its my camera and posting!!

Cheers,
Mike

Mike,
Your car looks GREAT! Ii love the wheels.
I went through the same area when I picked up my 993 in Seattle two years ago. The scenery was breathtaking.

Yes good run overall I and another car held up the group at the beginning . I missed a turn off which a Semi truck n trailer strategically parked and hid the posted sign to turn off but that extra 40 miles each way which btw was a blast .
Danny you miss a nice run , it was not as hard core speed as last year but still got the oil and blood flowing real good .
Mike`s targa is really a beautiful machine in fine shape . The one thing he got done which I wish I gotten done was the headlight washer delete .
Thanks for the pictures Mike .
BTW anybody interested in RS splitters I believe Mike has a set for sale . You can see them on my cab picture .
Cheers Guy

Thanks for the complements! I have only had the RUF's on the car for a few weeks. All the negative talk about 19's on these cars have me a bit apprehensive but I get zero rubbing and they grip really well. Honestly, I do not feel the additional weight, maybe I am used to the 17" Targa wheels which are quite heavy. I have driven cars with MY02's but they have all been C4's which feel different to begin with. But I LOVE the look!
Catus, I really like the black treatment with the polished rims you did! I might do a gun metal grey on these wheels if/once they get marked up a bit. Right now they are pretty pristine and I don't want to spend the money until I have to.
Cheers,
Mike

Good pic's
Great pic's Mike, thanks for sharing. It must be really nice to have your car back after such a long wait. The Ruf's look even better on the road!

Mike, the RUFs look awesome on the Targa. Looking forward to catching up and checking out the car in person later this week.
