Regrettably, I have decided to sell my 993. My wife has decided to go to law school full time and I cannot justify keeping the car at this time. If anyone is interested, I have posted an ad in the classifieds section below.
Thanks for the comments on the car....never expected I would have to sell it quite frankly (then again never expected the wife to say "Honey I'm quitting my job and going to do law school full time....I know you will support me on this and be behind me 100%" ......so what am i supposed to say....but of course, what ever it takes.....I'm behind you on this....) .
In any case, I really babied the car and took exceptional care of it. But in the end its OK. Its already a given, that when she is all done and the current scrafices are a distant past, I'll be in the market to purchase another 993. The only issue will be what model, what year and what color. Then the fun begins.
For those that might have interest, I have inadvertantly posted the incorrect milage in my original ad thats posted in the classified section. I had incorrectly entered 69,000 miles, the correct milage is 66,000 miles (65,981 to be exact).
Thanks to a fellow rennlister for pointing that out to me.
I can't believe this car hasn't sold yet. I'm selling my own red/blk '95 993 here on RL and I don't think I can sell it till this car moves. At $32.5, with it's upgrades and new parts I believe it's a steal. I track 993 prices pretty closely, not asking prices but the Manheim wholesale transactions nationally, and other "real world" sources, including the small sample of owner's in the price thread in this forum. Somebody who wants a really nice mid-mileage 993 should be jumping all over this.
None of these cars are selling because...........do you guys realize how tight money is lately? And I'm not even talking about arranging financing. (Nor am I talking about "collectible" cars.) All of these 993 cabs I'm looking at, from drivers to ****-worshiped zero milers are pretty much going begging.

Car is priced fairly...I have to agree with Ken...money is pretty tight indeed... as a retailer, comparing 2006 to 2007 gives me the creeps!
