I thought that some of you would appreciate a recent in-car video of my 9m 4.0 litre powered 993RS Clubsport at a recent Loton Park hillclimb (near Shrewsbury, England). As someone from another forum succinctly said "its like doing 90mph up somebody's path", except that I actually hit 105mph at the top of the long straight. ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Keep a look out for the 2nd to 1st change into the tight righthander, followed by tyre squeel as I lunch the throttle down and a quick let-go of the steering wheel to catch the ensuing slide without lifting off. If you listen carefully you will also hear the engine bog down after the hard lefthander at the top - unfortunately there is not enough space to grab a 3-2-1-2-1 gearchange in between the left and crest right bend without making a hash of it, so the result is a frustrating 3-2-bog-1 instead.
The video was shot in practise on the Saturday, on the Sunday I set an official record but was 0.5 sec slower due to a slide correction after the last bend, still beating the old record by 0.2 sec.
Enjoy, more of same to come soon.

Glad you all enjoyed it and erm, yes, I probably am nuts. I still get a buzz from watching it myself, but I have to stop myself from looking out for all the mistakes and lost points of a second. But that said, even though I drive the car up hills every other weekend, it's only when you re-watch yourself doing this that you realise that what I do with my 993RS Clubsport is bordering on the insane.
With respect to the engine in this car, the build sheet reads something like the definitive 9m parts catalog, probably because the engine has been used as a test bed for our new ideas:
9m billet crank, 80mm stroke
9m billet rods
GT3R oil pump
9m billet pistons, 103mm short skirt
9m 103mm cylinders
9m billet heads - production version
9m Race cams - standard lift (high lift kit in development)
9m billet DLC coated rockers
9m valve spring kit
9m individual throttle body intake system
Stock 993 headers (yes -really!)
N-GT 100 cell cats & silencers
Motec M600 ecu, dual lambda, datalogging and traction control (check out the launch control at the line).
Also on the RS are:
9m twin plate carbon clutch
9m carbon Motorsport diffential
355mm AP 6 pot calipers
993 Cup ABS ecu
Veloce GT1 wheels, Kuhmo Ecsta V700R tyres (soft compound road legal)
.... and believe it or not, the suspension is entirely standard 993RS.
Funnily enough, this week we are finally having the prototype header made to our own stepped primary, equal length, extractor collector design and will have the high lift camshaft in soon. This should put the power up to the 450+bhp level from the current 425ish and add a raft more mid range torque. My engine is obviously as far as you can go, but we can get a genuine GT3RS matching 400bhp by running a relatively standard 3.8 on billet heads, 9m pistons, race cams, ITB intake, headers and Motec.

That's wicked! When are you planning to bring 9M to America? Do you sell a 9M 450+ hp kit? Great job and yes, I love that traction control.
