Does collar with allen screws for TRG sway bars go to the outter side of bushing or innerside of bushing?
Thanks

For both front and rear I have mine on the outsides. Get then snug - l/r movement is what you want to avoid. Then I painted a stripe so I can quickly see if it rotates.

Don
Your suspension is absloutley beautiful!!! I think we actually spoke about this once.I was reading Jeff's DIY on upgrading the suspension and I noticed that he mentions with the stock type sway bars with the collars welded on ,that the collars are on the {Inside} of the bushings. This got me thinking, that I have my TRG collars on the wrong sides Is this correct for a stock Porsche Turbo Bars or RS bars that the welded collar is on the inside and the TRG bolt on collars are on the outside?Any pictures appreciated
Thanks

We always installed those collars on the inside.

A note,.....welding collars on a factory or aftermarket bar destroys the heat treating that these undergo and they can fracture without warning.

Steve
Thanks for responding .So let me get this straight, the TRG collars mount on the {inside} of the bushings? And with say a stock Porsche Bar with collars welded on from the factory, they also are on the {inside} of the bushings? Is this correct?
Thanks

Made me walk out into the garage and peek. Yup, rears are on the outside, and if my memory serves, I seem to remember a problem getting the bushings and collars to fit, but I could be all wet on that one. Next time I play with the suspension (right now I'm in leave well enough alone mode) I'll look into swapping. Now that I think about how hard it is to get in there to check tightness of the allen head bolts, I'd bet my fronts are on the inside.

Thanks. JIC Coilovers. Step up from the PSS9 but not up to the Moton league. The huge turnbuckle looking things are ERP Links. For my skill level, probably not necessary, but when I was building the car last year I discovered a bent lower link, so I went ahead and wrote the big check. More pics here. Tyson Schmidt from Wevo did the setup: align/cb/bump steer.

FWIW mine are on the outside too. Doesn't appear to present a problem.

I ran mine on the outside as well (on the 964 I've not installed any on the 993 yet).

Also, those running them on the 993 what droplinks are you using f/r?

Maybe the length looks different due to angle/obstruction. I doubt that I still have my original P/N. The one's I'm most concerned with, are the fronts. The stock ones are wacky-long and the ends of the stock bars turn down at the the very end making them measure out to be too long for the TRG's front.

THX!!
