Autotrader - sold a P car there
Rennlist - sold a P car there as well
eBay - good for public view and large pictures

Phil,

"...MY GT3 for sale....." Is that a hypothectical scenerio? I hope it is.

So when I sell my Ruf, it's Rennlist then.

2. post them in advert's on sites already mentioned.
3. price it realistically.

put my 97 nb coupe on both PCA and renlist classified sold to a buyer, PCA member, on second day price reflected low mileage and origional condiation.

imho the people on those two sites appreciate and are willing to pay more for a low mileage well maintained example. You may get more inquires from ebay, auto trader, ect but the bottom line is to sell the car at a fair price and that means getting a buyer group that appreciates what you are selling.

+3 on "What's your best price?" That is punk-***, non-negotiation and seems to be a more recent development that I never had to deal with growing up back east. I think our culture was more simple then.

My answer is usually based on time. I usually "give" a little each week, so I say, "This week, it's X, next week is Y" My "best price" is what it actually sells for, and we'll see about that, won't we? Often times. X is damn near what it's listed for. Sorry, I priced it right to begin with! Why do so many people expect a give-away?

+1 on Porsche Market Letter. Paper-based eliminates Nigerian scammers. Subscription based weeds out tire kickers. May be the best for special cars. Same could be said for Pano. The first call from Autotrader ads is always another "online listing serivce" in Arizona. Keyword search, $500, yadda yadda, I want to strangle them right through the phone! That's not what my mf phone number is for!
