David, don't remind me of those. The thought makes me want to get more done to my cab. Clamshell, windshield, top, windows... I need to stop and hangin with alvin doesn't help.

If we are considering the "specials" rather than the more generic range. there is always the 993 Turbo Cab.

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/173119.htm

I understood the 16 cars built were commisioned by a Munich Porsche dealership,,,note they are a single Turbo 3.6 engine.

There was definitively a 993 Speedster. You can see one of the Prof. F.A. Porsche on a trip to celebrate his 70 years.

If you are a fan of the 993 don't miss this pearl:

Ah yes, the GT1. Not much in common with our cars, but it is still my favorite. I think that there was actually one made for the street, for homologation purposes.

James - I am looking 1/18th, preferrably the UT brand or one of similar standard. The C2S seems difficult to come by.

Adrian Streather's book says there were seven 993 Speedsters -- Butzi Porsche's single narrow-body car and six Turbolook cars including Seinfeld's.
