Weird color inside, but stock, also has a tip, appears unhit. Opinions appreciated.

Tip and unusual green interior. Priceless.

Seriously, at 15K miles, I would peg the value low to mid 40s.

I usually don't like any interior other than all black, but that actually looks very tasteful to me. That car would be a steal for 40K in the San Fran area. Good luck with your purchase!

Definitely mid-40s and could be higher for the right buyer. Mileage is a plus but tip is a minor minus value-wise. The color could go either way but probably a minus. Looks to be pretty fully optioned which is a plus. That said, if you like the color and a tip, it could be worth more as you won't find another. The Targa market for low mileage cars is pretty thin.

I dig it. Try to low ball them because of the green interior then put some wheels on it with flat green centers to match! Seriously, I like that interior.

What is your opinion of the color as the buyer and the owner on a day to day basis?

For vaue and resale purposes it could be a minus but if you like, and are not going to sell then it could be OK. I think it is kind of OK but in person it could be different.

If EVERYTHING else is just right on the car and you want TIP etc it might be a bargain. There were what, 120 or so Targas in '98...last year of the last of the air cooled.

So, could you change out the interior color to something else. I am sure someone here knows what that would take. Again, if the car in all other areas is what you want and the price is right then it would be interesting to change out the interior to something you like.

I am partial to the Boxter Red interior that a buddy here in Seattle has in his specially ordered '98 Targa. Looks real nice with silver.

Cheers

I've seen that neph green color in person and it is a rich, attractive color.
You wouldn't think that it would be, but it is. Mid 40's. Full speed
ahead!

Mid to high 40s.

If you're looking for a low mile Targa, my 98 White over black tip w/ 25k miles is for sale. No accidents, no issues, completely stock and always a sunbelt car. Asking $45k. I'm in LA.

Interesting interior color... I wonder what it looks like with the shade retracted and the light coming through the closed glass top.... Value? I'd say mid to high 40's in SoCal....

What a neat color. Not sure I would get tired of it since it's unique - heck, that's one of the reasons you drive a Porsche. Can you live with that tip?

I don't think the interior color hurts the value of that car at all since it's got 15K, a targa, and silver exterior. Easily a buyer at fair market value for a 98 targa with 15k.
