I am new to this foum and just registered, and I need some assistance from your Porsche brains.
I am curently stationed in Japan, an have my eyes set on a 1995 Carrera RS beautiful machine with only 61000km and an asking price of 300400yen evolving to roughly $35K after taxes and fees. My concerns due to the fact that the 95-96 993s were not exported to the states, being street legal in Europe, will this thing be legal to enter the USA? What kinda fees am I looking at to get it off he boat at the port of entry. I will insert the image, and I really need some help on this because I don't want to buy it and have to sale it leaving it here. Are the specs from ZZZ(RoW) and USA really that different, and will it make the difference on it entering the USA or not??

Jim: great idea. Here's my .02: Firstly, Van1s suggestion is a good one. Maybe a line for mods as well. One of my cars has about $15k worth of mods and that should add some value.
Most importantly though, for me to play, I'd like to keep pricing info confidential. What about doing this on an excel sheet that everyone can add to? Info would be easier to poll and manipulate and members can enter their stats in privacy.

JUST SOLD! 1995 Porsche 911 C2, 33k miles, Polar Silver, Black leather, 17" chrome cup 2's, RS ride height, Zenons, LPMM Mufflers, Very nice car, no accidents or paint work, decent paper trail, paint 9.5 out of 10, interior 10. $34,800 I already miss the car.
