Still deciding on which way to go for a commuter/DD 95' 993. Any droning issues with either of the above mods???

No droning at all with RSRs on my 95, and still none after 1" LLPM. My mufflers are currently at the shop for 2" LLPM--the 1" is too quiet.

2" LPMMs produced a beautiful symphony, but no unwanted noises.

BobbyT, are you doing a 2" LPMM mod on your RSR? Or on separate set of stock mufflers? I am pondering these two options myself.

No droning here
The tires make more noise at that RPM.

RSR's sound great. They are more subtle then the LPMM's. No droning -at all.

Very few people experience droning with the RSR's, but, IIRC, a few Rennlisters have. I never had any resonance issues with my RSR's when I had them.

No droning that I can hear at any RPMs. I have 2" LPMM fabricated by Darin aka. "fisterd". Awesome job!

My RSR's are great -- no droning, just screaming, in a soft, well manored sort of way

BTW, there are, oh, one or two threads in the archives WRT RSR's and droning.

Hi Paul,

I did the 2" LPMM on RSRs. Just put them back on yesterday. The sound is exactly what I wanted. Not too loud or obtrusive, no droning, but the beast wails at WOT. Nice rumbling on overrun with closed throttle, no popping, but if you crack the throttle open just slightly, it is as quiet as OEM.

I have been asking for a while now if anyone LPMM'd their RSR's. Are you the first? I want to hear how they sound, any chance of a clip?

Quick Reply: Anybody get a droning at 2500 RPM or so with RSR's? LPMM's?
