Chevron, 91 octane because thats all I need here with the elevation and they dont sell anything higher, unless you search high, low, and out of the way.

Chevron 93 always on all my cars and motorcycle. Some BP stations also carry Chevron gas.

Also, a bottle of Techron every oil change @ 5K miles.

EDIT:
You may want to add Amoco, BP, QT, 76, and Citgo to the poll. I'm sure there are more... or maybe just a "Other" option.

Whatever's available near the track or at the track. I try to stay away from convenience store "brands".

You forgot BP, which is what I use 99.9% of the time for all of my other cars, and what I used when I regularly ran the 993 on the street.

OK gang a little secret...many of the various brands share the same distributor in a given region or geography and this includes the convenience store brands...Chevron refineries can supply Shell stations and vis versa....

That's correct, fuel comes from the same pipeline to each region. It's the additives and reformulation that each company applies later to that fuel when is distributed to its station chains that makes a difference.

I usually put Chevron 80%, occasionally Mobil (20%) but ALWAYS super. I put a bottle of Techron about once a month.

It is probably all in my head, but I will go to Shell if I can. However, if I can't get Shell I will pump whatever major brand I can find (Mobil, Exxon, etc.).

Knowing a little about the industry...it is more marketing hype than substance...

EDIT...I should not be so flip...I should say the difference is not as much as one brand would have you think over another. Most quality gasoline from the majors use the same types of additives with maybe some minor differences. My guess is the seasonal variation in the formulations is probably greater than the difference between the major brands in terms of engine performance.

I have been using Costco.... for years, just use one bottle of Techron once a month, the car runs great and no CEL issue on the SAI.

I go by the pump price, and yes some of the major brand stations are regularly lower than the independents where I'm usually running around (Concord & Pittsburg/Antioch).
