what would be a "ballpark" figure to repaint a 993 a different color?

My car goes in to the body shop at the end of the month for a total respray in the same color. Done right with glass out, fenders off, etc. Cost will be just shy of $10k. My guess is that a color change would be much more.
Me neither !

Looks like my initial ballpark was in the right region...$10-$15K......advice find the right colour in the first place and put the extra money into getting the right car mechanically....or even getting started on the slippery slope!!!

There was a car ( Black C4) in apparent decent mechanical shape in Orlando Fl not long ago. The seller was Nort Northam (google will guide you). The car had an odometer discrepancy, so repaint is not going to affect price. The purchase price was decent as well.
If it is still for sale, I can help you with the PPI and other stuff as I am nearby.

side moldings
Has anyone ever added on side moldings in an attempt to maintain a ding free door on their 993?
The people who park next to you in my area must enjoy opening their doors into their neighbor's car.
I'm just not sure how they'd look.

Oh, you say matte black? I think that would be cheaper, because it would hide imperfections.
Interesting idea, here are a few examples of similar cars,
