Let me know. Anyone know whether they discount or not?

Are his cars typically PPI'd before selling?

all i can tell you is that he always has a lot of cars on ebay. lately, he seems to have the same ones....as most sellers are holding out in this soft market.

Based on his ad; which says "just in time for spring", I'd say he's had this car awhile?

You could call Mike. He's very easy to talk to. But, I would not make an offer until I had decided I want the car and either seen it or had it checked out. Most dealers react badly to people asking about discounts without first knowing the car.

He offered me the 97 Silver C4S with 25k miles (which he still has) for a $4k less than his asking price. He faxed me a PPI which he had done to the car, but I disregarded it since I would have my own done from an independant shop not so tight with the dealer.
I seriously considered the car, but I'm not a big fan of supple leather seats.

I see that C4s. So, did you have it PPI'd? What was the result? Is the supple leather the only thing "wrong" with it?

If a dealer do not allow you to perform your own PPI...walk away!

I didn't have it PPI'd because I didn't want plush, supple seats in my car, so I took a pass.
I searched for a couple of months and found the exact car i was looking for.
If I remember correctly, Mickael Wilhoit faxed me a PPI he had performed by an independent (?) shop near his store. It was a very generic checklist that other independent shops use. Not enough detail in it for me though.
I would seek out another Porsche shop in the area to perform the PPI.
Good luck in your search
