Judging by the cheap-o tires, I'd say the wheels are similarly cheap, probably made in China. Just a guess.

pcar964, you are so direct, you crack me up my friend.

i do not recognize that wheel from any well know brands and i dont often see wheel bolts/nuts color matched like that, suggests bling?

Don't forget to specify that these happen to already be on the "new german baby" you just bought. We tend to be much more diplomatic if you already own it!

I'm no expert, but it looks like a BBS design. Maybe a copy? Is the paint as blotchy as it looks in the photo? Pull one, and tell us what printed or stamped inside...

haha I guess I need to work on my subtlety skills...

Now that I think of it, those wheels look like the ones off eBay I have seen before. Flying Finn has a set of wheels made by (I believe) the same manufacturer, though not the same design, but he's used them on his heavily track-modded 993. so I'm sure they're decent and not too heavy.

But the tires, those are still cheap-o

I'm gonna say Highline wheels, yes the ebay specials. I think pcar nailed it, in his oh-so diplomatic ways.

i love brutal honesty. its the only way! i checked ebay earlier and there is a very similar set. they look to have half the amount of bolts then my wheels. also the shape of the honeycomb is longer, mine are shorter. ill pull one off. seller said they were 3-piece, highly doubt it.

I have heard of VREDESTEIN before, but primarily in a winter tire, I think the co. is located in NL. I think they also make bike tires.

for now i have to say they are forgelite's. picture matches perfectly and the orig owner seemed to spend alot of $$$ on other mods. they seem to be a pricey wheels. never heard of them before!

Default If you don't recognize the wheel(s)....

You don't need them. I would never skimp on parachutes, birth control and wheels.

Forgelite Multi Spoke 3-Piece 19" $3,695.00 for one. Ouch.

Vredestein makes excellent tires. Just not common. Vredestein Giugiaro

They don't seem to be the forgelites. Forgelites are anonidized 6061 T6 aluminum alloys. The ones on the picture look like they are just painted black. The spoke design, is close, but not the same.

Also, forgelites come in 19" and 20". The ones above on the picture are 18" wheels, not 19".
