Could this be the leading candidate for Most Entertaining Thread of the Month? Let's not forget Jason Andreas' out of left field, photoshop post, in addition to our cultural literacy teachings.

Feigning offense typically takes the spotlight off the PC'er's own ignorance, insecurity and lack of education and simultaneously makes him feel good about himself. That's what makes PC so easy to embrace for so many people. Proof: Just use the word "niggardly" properly in a sentence and see just how many people will proudly be "offended".

OK. So to set the record straight, I am not a bigot. I apologize to those I have offended. However, I think it is impossible to express an opinion in a public forum without offending someone.
The word "Gay" is not an offensive word. It is not offensive to gay people. You can ask a gay person; "You're gay, right?" and they are not offended. Gay people use the phrase; "That's gay, sister" and similar phrases containing the word "gay" frequently. Now, I am generalizing here about "gay" people, based upon my experiences with the gay members of my family, gay friends in the workplace, and other gay people with whom I come into contact. I was using the word "gay" in the very universally accepted context (except in BC) of: "that which is a little lame."
One poster above equated the word "gay" with other language which is clearly offensive to not only the groups it usually is associated with, but also offensive to most enlightened civilizations. You sir, are guilty of a spectacular display of gross language. I am not being condescending, I am calling you a hypocrite.
As a side note; I am quite secure in my sexuality, my attitudes about other ethnicities, and my political orientation. But this forum is supposed to be about cool (or gay) CARS.
