Hey now! Not all WRX drivers fall in line with the honda crew

That said, I completely know where you guys are coming from. I had some kid and his fatty girlfriend hanging out the window of his lowered 1985 s10, giving me the finger for simply driving down the road. He passed, slowed down and then proceeded to "show me what was up" in front of his girlfriend

Envy, combined with a small dick and a smaller brain leads to this type of behavior, and I think ignoring them is perfect. Although I did get a kick out of the POS Neon that snapped something trying to prove how fast he is. The fact is, all of these punks have wet dreams wishing they were driving what you are.

In my experience, most of the rednecks in the oversized SUV's and Pickups with the 8" lifts just drool and give a thumbs up.

The rednecks around here have no clue what it is they're looking at and just look for a moment (if at all).
Off on a minor tangent though......these 993's don't seem to be chick magnets like one would expect.......they're dude magnets. I get more looks from them than from women (not that it matters with a wife and two kids.....just an observation

Chris,
Yeah, 993's are primarily guy cars...Women typically don't "get" them (NOTE: I said "typically"....Some do).
You comment reminded me of a statement written by Henry Manney III in Road & Track where he said the Jaguar XKE was "...the greatest crumpet collector known to man..." Probably so.
In my experience, strangely enough, of all the cars I've owned, I had more women approach me about my recently departed Beck 550 Spyder than anything else (It looked like #35 in my avatar). ..For some reason, women love that shape.

Had a "riced" NSX playing cat and mouse with me yesterday on the fwy. That's right, the yungin' had big coffee can pipes on a beautiful car. When I would move 30 secs. later he would come "ricing" up on my rear bumper. I couldn't see inside but I'm sure it was some punk *** kid. Although I was not in a contest with him, (I was in a hurry and just doing my own thing) I lost him trying because I think he was so low he couldn't see the openings in traffic that I was moving in an out of.

I have debated a Beck for years, its such a beautiful car and the replica is well executed. I did however sit in one once that I was considering buying and I felt like my feet were touching the inside of the nose. It felt like I could easily be mistaken for a bug in a Suburban's grill.
As for the girls, nothing touches my 1964 Travelall. I wish I would have known how much attention this car gets from the opposite sex when I was in high school. . . college. . . my twenties. . . thirties. . .

In college, my Karmann Ghia convertible impressed the ladies the most. Hands down. Probably because it was "soooo cuuuuuuuuute." We're talking phone-number-under-the-wiper-blade impressed.
If I convinced my buddy to drive, also very cozy in the back jump seats sideways (top down). Warm your hands over the engine on cool summer nights...
Ahh, those were the days. Pre HIV. Pre 9/11. $600 for a 12-unit semester. Who knew how good we had it at the time?
