From Ramadi, Iraq...A special thanks to all!
Hi all,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the extreme generosity and patriotism. The care packages arrived intact and my Marines have been enjoying all of the goodies. I, of course, appreciated the Excellence and Panorama magazines the best! Thank you from the bottom of my heart...it means the world to us. A special thanks to MC and his wife for putting everything together.
Things continue to go well here in Ramadi. I spend most of my time meeting with local leaders and contracting deals to get the city cleaned up. It's a far cry from last year when you couldn't leave the wire without getting in a gunfight. The temperatures are soaring and I really look forward to getting back to SoCal. I hope to join you all on the Big Bear runs and PCA autocrossess. My wife cringes everytime I mention mods to the 993. She doesn't quite get that I NEED to lower the car and upgrade the wheels.
My wife has been very supportive though, and continues to do her best with our son and baby on the way. I think she actually works a lot harder than I do!
I enjoy popping into the forum and keeping up with the community...I'll continue to drop a line from time to time.
Thanks Again...
Semper Fi,
Capt Doug Cullins USMC

Keep up the great work out west.
I just finished working with some Business Transformation Agency guys a few minutes ago to pump another big chunk of funding into more factory projects; some out west.
Do you work with Maj Centeno?

Keep safe and thank you for serving our great nation in such controversial times. I hope you can convince your wife that the modifications are for safety reasons (better handling = safer 993) It worked for me.....LOL

Doug thanks for your service...I'd be there with you but I been told I too old...spent time in Berlin in 62, 63 & 64, and the only jets flying over us were MIG 15, 17 & 19's.
Exactly what are the mod's you'd like to do to your 993?

We are the one's who owe you the heartfelt 'thank you'. I've had relatives in the Marines in the past, and firmly beleive that we as normal citizens never really get 1/2 of the real story. Between the media and the government, we get a lot of spin. Only folks like yourself really understand what goes on during your deployment.
You should know that regardless of 'public opinion' about the war, the majority of the people I know have a great respect and admiration for you and all of our soldiers.
God bless you. Come home safe

Ha, that's hilarious! I was just kidding around, implying he wouldn't have the tastes for a 993 (flame suit on).
Great shots, where did you get them?
