Dropped off the car Thursday to have the rear grill painted , and have some rock chips touched up. I'm hoping the phone will ring tomorrow.
Funny , I have not volenteered to go to the store one time this weekend.

Average trip time to the store--15 minutes. Average trip time to store in Porsche-1 hr.

So my car was supposed to be ready "mid week " . Isnt that Wednesday? I drove a Toyota to work today, and I dont want to do it again tommorow. If I'd wanted to drive a toyota , I'd a bought a 996.

Is that a compliment to the reliability of the 996?

Don't feel bad. I brought mine into the autobody shop over a month ago for simple rust repair around the windshield and it STILL isn't ready. I am getting really perturbed at them. Excuses excuses, or just bad timing.

If it's not ready soon, I'm going to ... I guess ... have to wait some more!

No, I never got pics of the rust. Once I dropped it off, I didn't have the stomach, time, nor interest in going back to see... rust, on my baby.

It's like having to see a canker sore in your mouth with a lighted scope. Just knowing it's there and feeling the pain is enough for me!

Steve, since you're in my area, please take some after shots and give us a brief synopsis of the work performed. My car is in desperate repair of rust around the windshield work too.

Finally picked her up Friday, going back one day next week. I was in a bit of a hurry when I picked her up as I had an old friend coming in from out of town, and I wasnt to worried about inspecting as I know the shop owner.Well, yesterday I found that the C had been broken and glued back on the Carrera badge, and the door edges were not touched up. Frustrating! The rear grill looks awsome, and the respray of the front bumper is perfect.
