The winner of the damage estimate pool was Stedge from Durham, NC. His guess of $14,700.00 was just under the State Farm estimate of $14,709.99.
Of course, as the pictures show, I did a lot of 'extras' to the repair that the insurance did not cover. As the saying goes, while you are in there, you might as well do all of the other things.
Many, many Thanks To Everybody for the kind words of support throught out this process and the generous props as the car is coming back together.

The latest addtiion.... I should be receiving FisterD's Stage III muffler mod next week!!!!
The new interior is almost completely in, just a few more items to go.... clear bra, alignment, State Inspection. I just can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

George, your car is looking amazing. The gold wheels really make it. With all the freshening and upgrades, it's almost like a new car, but man it took a long time. Hope to see it when it's completed.

I was just by the shop, the leather dash is in, seats in, the inside is finished. He cleaned the seats and the non-carpeted parts of the doors and lower dash. I did not have my camera with me, but I will get some shots taken on Friday and post them. The inside is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!
Robert will do a final outside polishing before the clear bra goes on.

Here are some pix of the interior.... all new carpet, custom console for the fire extinguisher, etc... Somebody swiped my e-brake ****!!! The bastard!!! A new $$ one is on it's way to me now. Robert will be doing the final polishing and tomorrow the clear bra is going on. Just a few items left to do. I may be picking the car up Wednesday or Friday.
