After a long wheel search i've set my mind on the following wheels but I don't know wich one would be best for my 993 RS.
1. Gemballa competition (picture 1)
Front: 8j x 18 ET52
Rear: 11j x 18 ET65
2. Gemballa Racing (picture 2)
Front: 8,5j x 18 ET 40 or 9j x 18 ET 46 (what is best??)
Rear: 11j x 18 ET 63
Please let me know what you guys would choose???
Best
Great looking wheels! To echo previous comments, #1 for practicality, #2 for looks. As far as fitment, let the list know whether your car is NB or WB and you will get advice on offsets, spacers, etc. You can also search this topic, I believe there is a lot of info already here.
I'm a bit biased...but I vote for #1! The Competitions have the same look/theme as your factory RS wheels....too bad the Kinesis Supercup II never made it to production as those were really sweet and would be perfect for an RS.
Also, IMHO you should consider going wider with the fronts...I previously had 8.5" ET46 but now have 9" ET40...both of which fit and will let you use rubber as wide as 245 and 265 respectively. 8" is much too narrow if you are going with 11" in the rear.
This are the sizes that are available, what combination would be best? ( New Tires are 225/40 and 265/35 zr 18 Yokohama AVS sport)
08,0J x 18 ET 52
08,5J x 18 ET 33
08,5J x 18 ET 46
09,0J x 18 ET 52
0 9,0J x 18 ET 40
0 9,0J x 18 ET 27
10,0J x 18 ET 40
10,0J x 18 ET 52
10,5J x 18 ET 47
11,0J x 18 ET 65
11,0J x 18 ET 52
11,0J x 18 ET 40
11,0J x 18 ET 28
11,5J x 18 ET 33
12,0J x 18 ET 28
Both wheels are sweet so it's a tough choice. Have you thought about photoshoping both sets onto a picture of your car? That will give you/us a better idea of what your car will look like with both.
#1 would be my choice but I would rather get BBS RS-GT. Also, didn't Gemaballa make wheels that looked like 993RS Speedlines but in one piece w/o the bolts?
