Those are all awesome colors... but I must give the nod to Vesuvius. My '95 968 is Aventurine Green and I will need a repaint in the future... I have thought about a complete color change to Vesuvius but I am not sure if I want to go that far (lotsa cash to do it right). But what a stunning color!

Perhaps I could convince my wife to let me try and buy a 993 in Vesuvius...?

Although I've never seen this color live.....I think charcoal gray is a sweet color on the 993.

I remember being at the "Werks" in Stuttgart doing a plant tour when I saw an Iris Blue 993 being driven off the assembly line. I feel in love and asked about the color (code D2), came back home and had my SC-R repainted ....

Colors can look so different depending on the body style.

Two of my favorites are Cobalt and Amazon Green. (If you couldn't tell)

I have never seen either on a 993. Where these colors offered after 94. I would be curious to what they look like on the 993 body.

There is a Cobalt Blue Turbo S on ebay right now...it is gorgeous, but the interior doesn't do it for me.

Well there you go I guess they did. Cobalt was not very popular in the US, much more so for the ROW especially England. You know I have never seen another Cobalt blue car with black interior other than mine all the others are with gray, which is nice but I am not a fan. In 2 days this is t he second car I have seen in Cobalt with a tan interior and all I can say is why. I just don't get it, they don't go together. The same thing with Amazon green. 90% have gray interior and in that color I find tan or black work much better.
I can understand if you like a certain color interior but buy an exterior color that works with it.

I'm going to be ordering Iris w/natural brown for my 997tt - I remember getting the 993 brochure when I was in dental school and immediately wanted an Iris car (sure, that was going to happen with no $$$). Thank you Porsche for paint-to-sample.

Iris is a great color. I wanted my GTS in Iris but they only made 3, I am very happy with Amazon. Iris is a deep rich color that works with just about everything and looks great on anything.

Good Luck

"Dragonfly"? Isn't the factory name for that one Wimbledon or Sea Foam?

Hmmm....I have not heard of that Amazon Green before, but I have seen my color referred to as "Rainforest Green" and "Forest Green"...

There's Artic Silver. There's Polar Silver. But I know of only one Bi-Polar Silver.

p.s. My favorite color for a 911 is Charcoal Grey.
