Is it just me or has anyone else just noticed that the "Turbo Twist" wheels have opposite swoosh on each side of the car? I noticed this yesterday for the first time. So the twist "swooshes" backwards on the drivers side, and forward on the passenger side. Couldn't they have designed wheels with left and right designations to keep the swoosh the same on both sides?

Wheels in the southern hemisphere have the swoosh going the other way.

I recall reading in Excellence a long time someone asked this question. The answer was something like, "Porsche tested this forward/backward arrangement in the wind tunnel and it had no impact on the aerodynamics of the car."
But then it's been a couple of years...

Relax...it's only a problem if your eyes are wide apart enough to see both sides at the same time!
Took me ages to discover that a Toyota Corolla GT I owned had different coloured wheels on both sides - design was the same, but with subtly different colours.
