I wonder why the designers thought an 11 liter reservoir was needed? That seems extreme.

I was wrong it is 7 liters ~ 15 pounds of water.

Here are some pix of my tank where I added the level float sender. I just drilled a tight fitting hole that receives the sender. OEM colored wires were twisted together just like the original and was spliced together and routed to the new location. The large tank was deleted along with the headlight sprayers for a clean look. The washer filler that is near the gas tank filler and no longer need was filled over with black structural adhesive. It is hardly seen now.
