I laughed all the way thru this one. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure after reading this, the Hans that made these cars, had hands.

The continual insecurity on this forum is only matched by the rising sun.

Drive hard and enjoy a great Porsche.

This is my definition of hand made. Was the 993 assembled like this?

Thanks for the link. I didn't know that Aston's tubs are glued-together aluminum, like the Lotus Elise/Exige. Very interesting. I can't say I'd want that in a $130,000 car, however...

Its more like hand assembled then hand made. That picture could be any car assembly plant. All cars are at least partly hand made. Since my 964 was put together 2 times by Hans being the quality was so poor according to a earlier post it is the last true hand made Porsche.

Now come on, how could the 964 cause anyone very much trouble....they sold less of them in a year than they did 356s 30 years earlier!

Hey Zicoramone, that was a great set of pics. Please post the whole pages if you can. The second one with the painted rear quarter is really interesting.

I don't really care what the boring dummys who make fun of a legitimate question about Porsches think. I bet they don't even own a popcorn popper. They probably only eat microwaved popcorn.

Has I told today by PM, a few months back I entered in an auction in Germany of Porsche Family items. One of the things that I bought was a lot of German
Cristophuros Magazines from 1991 to 1994. The 1993 issues are full of 993 history and fantastic pics like the experimental draws of the 993 Type. I was luck enough to get a few personal documents of Ferry Porsche and even of his father the Professor Ferdinand. Some documents are almost 100 years and and are truly amazing. Some of them are museum pieces, other are from the **** period. They were winner items for me for incredible low prices (I think the most expensive reach the amount of 70 $ only). My favorite it's one original classified from the first days of the Porsche as a company, asking for a man to put gas on they're cars.
I will try to scan some of the 993 pictures from the Cristophorus and I will post them.

Zicoramone, sounds like some great finds. Do scan and post what you can--I'm sure many would love to see them.
