1995 993 for sale in Houston...
#5
Northwest Jaguar is offering a white / tan 1995 convertible. I passed it this morning on I45. They offered a 1997 4S a couple of weeks ago for 38k or so. It was already gone when I drove down the day the add showed up in the chronicle. Maybe Victory bought it and sells it for 48k. It looks like they offer them for Blue Book value which means you can steal an S or 4S.

Here is the eBay listing with pictures. This is the same car that Jonathan found, but it was listed with 350,000 miles! I think this is more accurate.

Hey Houston guys, in the late 70's, I used to work at 2 Houston Porsche stealerships. One was out I-10 maybe 10 miles or so from downtown, and the other was up on I-45[?] not to far from the airport. Just curious if they are still in business.

Yea, the one on I-10 is still around, but Houston's only 2 dealers are owned by the same company, Sonic. Both just recently moved into new corporate Porsche design showrooms. The one on I-10 just got renamed West Houston Porsche, which used to be Don McGill Porsche. The other one, used to be called Southpoint Porsche on 59 South. Renamed Momentum Porsche. I don't remember the one on I-45 near the airport.
