Default Pic of replacement top, seat covers, 3 spoke

Ok - first time to try to upload photo - lets see how this goes. I have a 96 cab and had some work done. I had the top replaced and am very happy. I bought from Rich & Famous (on ebay) and had installed locally. The fit is great, love the color, I am thrilled with the result. Not only that, $450 for the top, very nice.

Second pic is of my seat covers, I took just one to see if it posts good. These are from Gahh (or Gaah) and they are very nice, but a little pricey.....

Third pic is of interior in general and the 3 spoke just put on, I am going to have the door panels (back piece) replaced black to continue theme...

Hope that the pics help anyone thinking of top replacement, seat recovers, etc.

Very nice! How do the GAHH covers compare to the factory leather? Price?

My bought a set of supple leather 12x for my 1995 911 from a guy off rennlist. He had them in his car for 4K then pulled them. They were very nice. I would say these are just as nice, but the difference is that the seat is still compacted as it has been used for 80K miles.... I was very happy with the covers, but they were $1200 + install....I will say that 3-4 folks (valet, car wash guys) have made comments and did not have prior knowledge of the car. They see a few p-cars and noticed how nice the seats look. I recommend them, I would buy direct though(if not in CA), most states tax materials on car repair, if you buy direct you will save the sales tax. Installer did not get/pass on discount.

Those recovered seats look great! I may have to have my old stock tan seats recovered in black in case I decide to but them back into the car.

I also love the car cover...wish there was another group buy on those

I paid $400. I said in the post that I paid $450 for the top from R&F, but in fact I called them directly and got $25 off the top and $25 off the boot. The top install was seemless, not problems, adjusted correctly at pickup. I did not open for 2 weeks, but have not had a problem with operation since. A few guys have tried the install as DIY, but I think this one is something to let the pro's do.

Kc: Very, very nice. I am envious, as my top cost was about $2,000 installed. The quote for new covers front and rear with seat warmers is about $3,000. Big bucks area in Silicon Valley. Do you mind sharing your costs for the seats & SW? I am thinking of a new 3-spoke. DId you get leather or vinyl, and where did you get it? Gert (Carmnewal) price for vinyl is 823 Euros (about $1,120) delivered. Any help would be appreciated.

Seat covers were from Gahh $1200 for front only (leather). Since mine is a cab, I have a T- section in the back between the seats that needed recovering, the shop did this for $75 (vinyl). The labor was 400-500 total. The steering wheel was posted on rennlist classifieds for $700 (wow, great price). It is leather with airbag. I was in the same spot as you and kept bidding on them on ebay, I would bid on a 3 spoke (no airbag) and then an airbag, but kept getting outbid. I think if you get them seperately you can save money, but the 3 spokes on there with airbag go for about as much as Gert's - so I would not bother. If you wait, you see a 3 spoke about every 2-3 weeks on ebay. Good luck!

Default Pics of black material recover of door panels

I was asked about the black material I bought and how the recover of my door panels went. I am posting a before and after photo. It went pretty good. There was an issue that I will have fixed later, but I was very happy with the material and the outcome is much better than before (in my opinion)

HEre is the pic before

And after

Thanks
