I replaced the frame only on my 95 a couple years ago. Sounds like I got in just before stock ran out. Vertex shows the parts and prices (much less than dealer) if you do a part number search. Don't know if they can actually source it though. May want to give them a ring.

I find the whole thing a scam to stop making one part to force you to buy a new airbag. What's next? "Gee Mr. Smith. Sorry but we don't make the oil filter for your 95 anymore. There is an adapter you need to make the new filters fit... We have an updated part number right here... 997. "

as an FYI, there are several brackets on Ebay for around $65.00 plus shipping.

I think those are the '96+ part, so they won't help.
