Default Will a 964 RS door panel fit on a 993 and has anyone used Autos International?

I hear Autos International has a great reputation (got their name from Dan Jacobs of Hairrry Dog Garage), but they seem to be not too sure if they make RS door panels for a 993. They do have panels for a 964.

I tried a search but there were no matches.

So, will a 964 panel fit a 993? I'm assuming it will but just want to be sure before I place the order.

TIA,

AFAIK, the 964 and 993 doors are identical.

Good luck

I got a seat cover for my 80 911SC from Autos International about 12 years ago. They sent me samples to match the color. The quality and fit were top notch. I had it installed by Trim Line in Redondo Beach, and the installer told me it was one of the finest quality he had ever seen, which made his job easier.
I would buy from them again, very satisfied.

Hi Mark,

I'm thinking about doing this. What's the price on this? And do you have any idea on how much weight you'll cut?

+1 on Autos International. I was at their shop for a tour a year ot two ago. They do top notch work on all kinds of cars. They had several rare cars in various stages of restoration when I was there. Their reputation for Porsche interiors is very well respected.

Thanks for the corroboration, guys!

Shannon, I don't have a price. I'm also not sure how much lighter it will be. I'm putting them in because the door bars to the cage will interfere with the existing door handles.

Did some major interior parts for me on another car several years ago. Very satisfied with the quality. Real high end shop, had several vintage Ferrari cars in the shop when I was there. Wouoldn't take my P car anywhere else.

i have used them for several cars (356 and 964) good quality stuff.
I used Appbiz panels on my car while i am waiting on porsche to produce a real set for me (the black forest knomes are slow and already decided that i really DID want speakers when i specifically ordered them without, sigh...) these are about $500/eah before you order all the other trim bits (about $100 a panel)
they are good with some minor issues (the pull anchors have to be drilled to insert the crush nuts) other than that they are the best i have seen. they are die cut and have optional switch supports. the pull straps are cheaper than OEM but you can order the OEM pulls realitively inexpensively. they also make Carbon fiber panels - which would be cool for a race car.

Do not buy the orignal fit interiors stuff - frankly it's crap (been there, gave them away).

Mark, just wanted to let you know I will not be in the market for black panels after all. CF panels sound awesome!
