Another Fatal Crash in the Bay Area, Reported as CGT
Hi,
Got this off the local paper and 6speed.
http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=78486
Really sad news. Reported to be two 26 years old in a black Porsche (some say it's a CGT) crashed right in my backyard in Los Altos Hills. So so sad. I have no further details other than this. Hope it is not some one we know in the Bay Area.
Loosing Luis is already a shock. This is just heart-breaking.
Folks, please be safe out there.

Just read that over there too Pong ... sad indeed.
Besides Luis and these 2 guys ... there was a Ferrari driver who died the same day as Luis IIRC.
IMHO ... 26 is too young for a CGT. I wonder if these guys had ANY DE experience?
I wish I did not have to hear of stories like this.

No ID's disclosed yet... I don't know any P-car comrades personally in NoCal other than Senor Pong, but I'm so saddened by the events of the last week....

Back to the topic here, is it confirmed that it was a CGT?

Judging by the fact that it was so early in the morning, I'd say it's a safe bet they were joyriding. So they had enough common sense to do it when few others were on the road. RIP.
Yeah, I'm speculating. Yeah, not all the facts are in. But let's forget all that for a second - Nobody takes a passenger out in their CGT at 2 in the morning to "just cruise." Be careful out there!
