Question Proper Pedros Placement Protocol?

I finally picked up a large can of Pedros Ice Wax to hopefully quell the recent windshield and rear window squawking. I worked the tube all the way around the outside perimeter of the windshield seal and most of the way around the rear seal. My question is - should the lubricant be applied under the outer edge only, or also under the inner, where the seal rests on the glass? Naturally, I am referring to the outside of the car only.

Also, where can I find an extra long version of the typical aerosol can red 'tube'? The short length of the supplied tube makes it very difficult to inject lubricant on the upper part of the rear window.

Not on the inside, just the outside contour touching the paint
I never lubrify the rear.
In thin areas, you have to apply on a finger and rub the seal

It works. No question.

A vigorous caning this afternoon confirmed the results.

Here's a solution that worked for me. Simply butt two aerosol tubes against each other and then carefully heat a 4" or 5" section of appropriately-sized shrink tubing over the pair. I doubled the shrink tubing for the heck of it. This worked perfectly to apply the lubricant all the way around both windows.

Silence, thy name is Pedros.

That's outstanding, Andreas. There's one just down the street. Last place I'd think of to shop for Porsche parts. Thanks for the info!
