Default For sale '95 993 manual C2

I have just put my 993 up for sale.... is it fine to post it here or should it go in the OT/General forum?

It's a Black/tan '95 manual C2 with 62k miles. All stock in very nice condition. Needs really nothing. Asking $32,000.

Let me know if I need to move, edit or delete the thread.

Good luck with the sale. You really need to update the link to your 74 RSR conversion. Sounds badass!

It's fine here. You also might want to post it in the Member-to-Member classifieds, as well as the regular classifieds. Love the Ford GT. Good luck with the sale!

I'm stunned. I had one for six months and sold it. It was my first, and last, "Supercar," and I found it totally impractical for anything.

Compared to a Ford GT, a 911 is as practical as an SUV!

Paul are you the same centerpunch that started the FordGT pricing site and helped with the fordGtforum?

I don't use the car for work. I drive to the office and the car stays there all day. If I have to run errands or go to the grocery store there is the passenger seat that gets used for as trunk space.

But yes the 911 is so much more practical... My wife uses her 993 to take the girls to school and do everything.

The car that gets used the least is the pepper wagon. We thought abt selling it...

Yes, I was the GT-obsessed guy that did FordGTprices.com, but I didn't have anything to do with the FordGTforum other than being a frequent poster.

My daily driver has been an Audi S4 V8, but now that I bought this 993 C4, I'm going to sell the Audi and drive the Porsche year-round.

There is an ad in the classified section with a little more details... these are the basics...

Mechanically the car is in great shape.

I just had the PPI done for my own knowledge and I had everything fixed.

The front brake pads are a little thin, the air filter needs to be replaced and the rear wiper motor is not working.

I would recommend any party interested in the car in investing the $$$ to do an independent PPI . I am willing to drive the car to any of the local Porsche shops.

I can also help shipping the car for interested parties.

The car looks like a 20k mile car. It is really beautiful.

The interior is in fantastic shape apart from the driver's seat that is showing wear on the outer side bolster.

I can take more pics of any part of the car upon your request.

Other info:
1) the top end has not been rebuilt
2) the title is clean and in my possession
3) the VIN # is WP0AA2990SS322322
4) the car was never driven in the snow and has been kept in a garage.

My email is

matteo.amoroso@assiduous.net

Thanks!

I am just bitter you weren't selling in January....

Good luck, should be an easy sale. If not bring it down to FL. The black ones are hot commodities down here.

Do you guys think the price is competitive? I am not in a particular hurry to sell... but I hate that the car is sitting without being driven much...

Couple more pics...

Hey Matteo...

No suspension work ever done? That ride height looks lower than stock to my eye (looks great!).

Good luck with the sale... as others have said, should sell quickly.

Hey Jeff...
Thanks for the comment on the car!

Just RoW springs.

This was my daily driver and I was happy with the suspension as it was since the car never did any track work.

The pics above are taken at the Tail fo the Dragon... It was such a blast to drive.

I am taking the GT there in the next couple of weeks.. I think the 993 will turn out to be the more fun car for those tight twisties....
