Clutch may be due, which can be $2000+ depending on if it needs a new flywheel. 60k service can be around $1200 depending on where you have it done, if it needs doing. Refreshing the interior can be a DIY project that costs very little money. That sounds like a nice deal, especially if it's a color that you like. You don't mention if it's a six-speed, I wouldn't settle for a tiptronic unless that is what you are looking for.
Good Luck,
Prepare for the !!!
I looked at this car a while back but the fact that the current owner has no idea if the clutch is original or not kinda scared me, it has also had four owners so you might try taking the VIN to a dealer and trying to get their names and ask them if they changed it.
If your thinking of that one....you might want to look at mine. 95 993 six speed black on black original owner 28K miles. California Car. Sport Seats, sport exhaust, aerokit, OEM ROW Springs, shock tower brace, turbo sway bars. Koni externally adjustable shocks, Litronics, euro lens all four corners. Carbonfiber shifter, brake lever and door pulls. Kenisis K-28 18" wheels. Fresh Michelin PS tires, new belts and front and rear deck shocks. Service records. $40,000.
Just because the clutch was changes, it is NO security. Ask me about it. I have the receipts for a clutch done 8,000 miles ago on mine and it slips like mad in 2nd when I'm really hammering on it. A clear PPI and *records* are not a safety net. I might just have a sticking clutch rod because it seems to hookup sometimes.. I guess my point is. DRIVE THE CAR. Check the records for any damage repairs and if it runs well, has a good PPI report and does not have a damage history... take a crack at it. hell.. if it's worth $30k + with a new clutch you are still ahead of the game if the first thing you do when you buy it, is a have a new clutch put in.

how long ago if you don't mind me asking? Also did you look at it in person? I notice you are not from where the car is listed for sale.

Looking for something a bit cheaper but sounds like a great 993! Thanks
Needs to be checked out... PPI, leak down test.
As previously said, needing a clutch doesn't make it a bad deal.
If it is a good color combo for you and has the trans you want, I'd ****** it up.
I bought a 95 with 100K miles on original clutch. I did the clutch/flywheel and we're all set
yep, its the right color combo and the 6speed that I am looking for. kinda worried about that many owners if it is the one that the poster above looked at......one way to tell! gotta go look at it I guess
