Default Biggest mistake of my life

In 2001 I sold my 1997 993 Targa tip. Needless to say, I have been craving a 993 ever since. I have owned a couple of Cayennes, which I currently drive today, and a 997 in-between Cayennes. 997 seats were horrible, long story. I am ready to own a 993 again and am looking for suggestions and advice. One thing I am certain of is that I want a 6 speed. I am thinking C2S, like the wider body and the fact there are less on the road. I am open to recommendations from what models, years, good dealers, anything you think may help as I have always received great advice form the Rennlist forum. My plan is to own my next 993 for life as it will be my second car. Thanks Frank.

Sounds like you know enough to start the "hunt". In fact, since you are a previous 993 owner, your probably the best equiped prospective buyer out there. What can I say, some like redheads, some like blondes. Good Luck!

The C2S does not appeal to me apart from its wonderful looks. Please read this as just an opinion based on my personal preferences. I do not mean to offend those who own C2S's, but you are asking for opinions. It is wider creating additional drag for no performance benefit and carries more weight all making a C2 outperform it. But having written that, all 993 are very very nice. Just find the one that pushes your buttons the most. Good luck with finding what you want.

In my search, I came across a nice looking C2S(polar silver with aero package) at willhoit enterprises--only 34K on odometer. I would have seriously considered this but have opted for a tt. Good luck with your purchase!

try to find a C2s with the X51 option (the 3.8ltr). It's a very good car in it's category.

That is a great option but he will not find it on any US spec car. Never offered in the states.
