I've used Roger Kraus for my old '88 (no kinematic toe) and agree he's good.

Another option is Devek - they did a good job aligning and CBing my 993 and do have the kinematic toe tool.

I had Brandon Kraus setup my 993 for the track (CB and align) and he charged me about $350 I believe. He used to setup my early 911 as well, always been happy with his work.

Funny thing, I mentioned to him that his name was being dropped in a positive way on this board (and Pelican), and he'd never heard of Rennlist

Maybe that's changed in the last year?

Another choice, Custom Alignment in Mountain View. Recently had a full alignment, yes with Kinematic. If I remember the alignment was $260.00 and forget what the CB was. No complaints the car feels great.

Roger Kraus and Custom Alignment both do a good job (I've used both). I liked dealing with Brandon and the folk at Kraus a lot more and think they pay more attention to the details (especially when it comes to tires). I go all the way to Kraus and I live in HMB - I think it's worth the time/trip.

I vote for Roger Kraus also. Brandon set up my 993NA when I put in thr H&R coilovers with RS Sways. He spent at least 3 hours making sure everything is perfect (CB/alignment with Kin. toe/ride height). He also fixed the RS drop links that was separated due to my installation error. Throughly explained all my questions. Truly professional and nice guy.

Not knowing what shock / spring setup you have, I would still recommend a corner balance if you have threaded collar spring perches on your shock assy's.

You might not need as much exactness on getting the corner balance zero'd such as with you in the car, but you should at least know your installed spring heights are close to being in range for each corner's weight load.

FWIW, I have seen several cars with shock setups installed by notable shops/wrenches where the corner weight has been off by a sizable amount due to misued or misunderstood ride height measurement points...

If you have stock suspension...there ain't much to corner balance, considering that the rear ride hight can only be adjusted by shims, 3mm, 5.5mm and 8.0mm. That is not a lot.

Also, the front struts have minimal threading to permit a corner balance....as we have come to know them. With stock suspension, the factory set these cars up pretty well as I understand it...you don't need a corner balance. It's a Porsche car...they handle out of the box!

One more vote for Roger Kraus Racing. They installed my M030 suspension and HDs. Alignment was $220. I didn't do corner balance.
