If I adjust the arms, won't this mean that the wipers don't travel down far enough on the driver's side?
I assume that there is a fixed 150 degrees (my estimate) of travel, and that when you reduce the height on the passenger side this will result in the wiper's sweep ending higher on the driver's.
Hope this makes sense.
I tried replacing the wiper arms on my wife's Audi A4 (for a different reason) and could not get the damn nuts off, they were stuck fast.

Leo - you're exactly right. They do actually go far *enough* on the driver's side when parked low on the passenger side, but I've found it OK for the times I drive in the rain. Your mileage may vary in London :-)
