Source for good (not over-priced) center caps
I've run the searches, read the threads and only found one link to Boothe Designes. I do not need anything that fancy. I simply have the concave silver caps on my car. Problem is (and is it really a problem) they are 'Turbo' caps and my car is NOT a turbo. Makes me feel like poser, charleton.. a two-bit play-a. I'd like some simple crests or.. whatever came on a C2 in 995.
I have two sets of wheels, silver painted and the concave / dished centers are the ones that look right. The flat caps from my 964 look.. well.. weird on those wheels.
Tried the classifieds and nada... so I'm looking for a good source. I could check feal-bay I suppose but who knows what sort of recycled McDonalds plastic they could be made out of....
Suggestions, links or leads on un-advertised used caps in good shape that do NOT say 'Turbot' or C4 or whatever.. would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

I've used flea-bay to obtain one set of used but great shape OE center caps (plastic, concave "Carrera 4" from a 996) for my winter wheels and have seen many other OE caps listed as well - silver, crested, flat, concave, etc. - you might give it a try. I just searched the wheels section and filtered by "Porsche", then looked at all of the ads to find the caps. There are probably easier searches as well.
No affiliation, etc.
Good luck!

I have a complete unused set, but they are the painted set of OEM unused center caps. They are from Gert (http://www.carnewal-europe.com/) and are in OEM boxes.
Make me an offer...

Foto,
I had a set of the original flat all-metal caps and used those on my new 18" turbo twists for a while. They never looked right and sat a bit 'proud' of the wheel surface. I then tried a set of caps from Vertex (metal as well) that were not the same silver as my normal turbo twists. In the end, I picked up a new set of concave plastic center caps from Jeff at Sunset. The silver seems correct and the 'dish' works very well with my wheel design.

The caps I have are the ones that Gert currently has "On Sale" for 90 Euro.
They are the plastic, concave, large colored crest on silver.
They are each in individual boxes that are labled PORSCHE Genuine Original with the part # 955 361 303 05 9A1.
Here's a quick picture I just shot about 3 min ago:
And, yes, I do have 4 of them
RallyJohn - If whomever buys these from me doesn't mind, I would place one on my Cup2's and shoot a photo for you.
