Default 993 RSR Single Belt Drive Pulley Upgrade Kit

Hi Guys.

I have a 993 RSR Single Belt Drive Pulley Upgrade Kit Porsche part number 993 106 151 80.

I have only one of these to offer. We bought it about a year ago and never used it on a project. They list at something like $1900.00. One is on Ebay right now for about $1750. I should have pictures posted quickly. I am not so good at doing the posting thing. Give me a call at 801-699-6542. We are a rennlist sponsor and wont waste your time.

First $1295 takes it. Please no complaints if you missed it or didn't see it in time.

Thanks.

Besides a really cool part, the advantage is a stronger belt, a slower turning alternator so less parasitic drag.

Also, surp belts are much more efficient and with the tensioner, it always has a given amount of tension on the belt. Great upgrade, as long as you dont need the A/C.

Chris is right. We have a customer that drives his 993 hard and wanted it for his street driven vehicle as well. We talked him out of it due to the high heat in Utah. I works very well for the track, however as we haven't had any belts go bad yet after three years. Not made to run the A.C. Chris Walrod, what is in you avatar? Are they a Ohlins or Penske shock set?

They do look like OE part numbers, but I have a factory RSR since new, and I agree with AndyT, these look like the MODE Design ones. That is not a bad thing, they make great stuff. But it does not look factory to me either. SSF was having a sale on these awhile ago, they had them listed under this part number, but they did say it was MODE-made when I asked them. Someone may have gotten confused and thought it was OEM.

Note that the 993 RSR used a 964 crank. So this won't fit anyone's 993.

Were there any issues running without the (5 pound) harmonic balancer?

The kit as above or from the factory includes the heavy balancer pulley. It's a poly-rib version of the heavy 964 crank pulley.

I have to believe that it is genuine. I stand behind the product and am willing to provide the customer a full refund if he is unhappy. Same as Einmalig and Smith motors are selling.

I like this design over the v-belts we have. Do you have any installed pics?

This 1) requires removal of AC and 2) requires machining of motor console

I have a pic of one installed on a 993TT somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.
