I called this afternoon. They said they had NOTHING left for 993's. Thanks for the try though. Looks like I'll probably try something else like maybe MY02's. Thanks for the help people!

Those tramont wheels out of France look very good to me. I've always really liked the speedline RS and GT2 wheels, but have been resigned to not ever really being able to find a set, let alone in the right offsets for my TT, at a reasonable price or at all. Since I sold my Kinesis k18's I've considered some RUF 19's or some of the BBS aluminum racing wheels in 18's for the future, but they are both quite expensive. I bookmarked their homepage and may consider a set of these tramont's for my TT one day.

I know there are a few people here with them and they look stunning! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanx, Tim.
Is the set for sale in the PCA classifieds what you're looking for?

Are these the cup car wheels in the picture above. That is an interesting idea of drilling them out. Can it really be done, it sounds like you have some experience doing this. Are there any sort of guide marks to do the drilling.

Thanks,
Jim

I haven't personally drilled them out, but I know a man who has!

The centres are just the blanks for the road wheels...look closely and you can see that is the way they were cast, take a template of your standard stud pattern and surely any vaguely competent engineering machine shop should be able to do the job.

Thanks for the pic Bill. When using MY02's on a 993, I assume I'd use 225/40's and 265/35's for best results on the street. I know these wheels originally used 285/30's on the 996 but that's a lot of tire for a NA street driven 993. Decisions, decisions!

Cool Ther was a set in Panorama a while back...

$5,000 or so....I wonder how heavy they are? Are the centers forged, or cast? So many questions....so much money!!!!
