Default Caliper spring plate bolts?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a source for the caliper spring plate bolts for the 993?

Cheers.

Yes those are the ones.
I know porsche only sells them as part of the kit, but I'm lookinging for bolts on their own.

If you have at least one of them, take one to your local nut and bolt place. These are not hard to source and will prbably spend less than a buck per bolt.

I may have to do that, but I was hoping to get them exactly to match, there aren't too many general nut & bolt places that I know of near me.

Are the caliper plates Brembo like the calipers themselves?

Re the bolts, if an automotive supply outlet did not have a kit of various metric items ( M4 or M5), I would go to a place that services chainsaws, gas powered trimmers, etc. They carry a wide selection of such items; however, if you are located in central London, chainsaws may not be too popular ...

ScrewFix do some hex socket screws with the correct shape of head (they're stainless steel). If you know the thread size and length, you may be able to get some from them (whereas they ScrewFix used to be online only, they have started opening stores - would be worth checking if there's one near you). Looks as though the ones in the picture had been secured with Loctite, so maybe you should bear that in mind.

I have a whole boat load of those screws -- stainless button heads -- I used a lot of them when I was refinishing calipers for folks. I would love to send you a handful, but not sure if the cost of postage would be worth it. If you cant source them locally, let me know

Chris, can you give me the specifics (size etc.) of what I need, and I'll see if I can source the locally. Thank you very much for the offer.
